A farm girl at heart who moved to the city and became a party girl who is now trying to recover from a 13 month stint at the worst job in the history of the universe that had wiped out all semblance of the life I used to have. Desperately in need of having to figure out what to do with my career come end of March 2012, when my current contract ends.
My favourite things are my iPod and pink iPig and my Kindle. I cannot imagine a life without them. I am currently coveting the Kindle Fire and am willing to sell what’s left of my soul to have one.
My favourite author of all time is Terry Pratchett but the position of my no 1 favourite book is shared by Douglas Adam’s Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy and Alexandre Dumas’s The Count of Monte Cristo. I love reading, and have done so all my life. Even though I have my Kindle, I cannot let go of traditional paper books and have been known to read the same book on both my Kindle and the paperback versions at the same time. I’m also known to read up to 4 different books at the same time.
These are some of my favourite things: Spring and Summer and rainy days, the colour yellow, wine and cocktails, handbags and shoes, chameleons, elephants and trees, making lists, music, reading and dancing.
