Over the weekend we found a little chameleon in the garden. I was so excited because they seem to be getting very scarce lately and it’s a baby, so I am sure there are some more around too.
I love chameleons and I’m taking it as a very good omen for the year
So after more than 3 years of blogging anonymously, I have finally decided there is no reason to hide who I am. This doesn’t mean that I have linked my blog to my Facebook account, I do still prefer my “privacy” and the freedom to type what is on my mind without having to worry about who might feel insulted / hurt / jealous / worried about what I say. I mean you really aren’t going to e-mail pages of your journal to all your family and friends are you?
I am who I am, and what I am today might not necessarily be what I will be tomorrow. The only thing we can be certain of is change. That is how I picked my new blog’s name “Kaleidoscopic Chameleon”. I love chameleons and they are always changing, just like life and it’s kaleidoscopic because every day is filled with colours, forever changing. Today might be red and blue and yellow, the colours of happiness and tranquility and some days might be gray and black, but it is forever changing, and that, I have come to realise, is a good thing.
